Fabbri 1905, a historic Italian family company and world leader in premium food & beverage ingredients, is bringing the timeless ritual of the aperitivo to the heart of New York City with the first edition of Italian Aperitif Week, scheduled for June 13-22, 2025.
This ten-day event invites New Yorkers and international visitors to experience the authentic spirit of Italy at ten selected venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Each participating restaurant will offer a signature cocktail prepared with Fabbri’s premium ingredients and paired with regional Tuscan specialties.
Celebrare il rituale iconico italiano
Italian Aperitif Week is presented in collaboration with All About Italy, the leading Italian lifestyle magazine in the United States and Germany, and with the support of Fabbri, the Tuscany Tourism Agency and Neos, the Italian airline of the Alpitour World group. Thanks to this synergy, the initiative becomes a true cultural bridge between Italy and the United States, celebrating not only Italian mixology and regional cuisine, but also the art of conviviality that characterizes Italian hospitality. Neos, official partner of the event, reinforces this mission: to bring the essence of Italy across the border, “from the sky to the glass.”
Famous for its iconic ceramic jar and beloved Fabbri Amarene, the company has supported chefs, pastry chefs, gelato makers and bartenders for generations with ingredients that inspire creativity and excellence. For Italian Aperitif Week, mixologists will use products never before seen by American audiences, such as Fabbri Gin and Marendry (a bitter reinterpreted with a modern twist), along with iconic ingredients like Amarena Fabbri and new strawberry and ginger references.
Among the most popular products for experimentation in mixology: Marendry, a historic liqueur made according to the family recipe, and Fabbri Gin, distilled with pure Amarena Fabbri. Fabbri syrups, born from more than a century of tradition, bring flavor, versatility and innovation to cocktails. The range includes classics such as mint, strawberry, black cherry, but also gourmet flavors such as elderflower, passion fruit, violet, calamansi & yuzu. In line with new trends, Fabbri syrups are also perfectly suited to mocktails and low/no-alcohol cocktails, transforming them into leading menu items.
What makes Fabbri so special is its ability to innovate without losing its artisanal soul: each product is born from the careful selection of raw materials and processes that respect tradition, with an eye to the future.
Una visione che guarda lontano
“Our vision for the future is one of continuous growth, innovation and establishing our brand as a symbol of excellence in Italy and around the world”-said Federico Fabbri, Fabbri’s Foreign Sales Director. “Despite the challenges of the US market, we believe that investing in mixology and the quality of our products is a unique opportunity. Participating in Aperitif Week in New York is an important step for us to consolidate our presence and connect with industry professionals.”
Il perfetto abbinamento con i prodotti toscani
Tuscany, home of the famous Negroni born in the early 20th century in an elegant Florentine café thanks to the charismatic Count Camillo Negroni, is participating in Italian Aperitif Week to bring its flavors of excellence in combination with Fabbri cocktails. Pecorino cheese and Tuscan cured meats will accompany the drinks in the 10 selected locations, offering participants an authentic journey into the flavors of one of Italy’s most celebrated regions for culture, art, food and wine.
“We are happy to continue promoting our food and wine tradition in the U.S.” – said Francesco Tapinassi, Director General of Toscana Promozione Turistica. “Aperitif Week is a perfect opportunity to highlight our products as ideal companions for a good cocktail.”
During the event, Tuscany will also present its tourism projects and destinations, particularly those promoted by Vetrina Toscana, in a series of events in Manhattan.
