Valerion is coming to the UK and it’s bringing multiple projectors fit for different room sizes, budgets and performance need.
Valerion (not to be confused with Velaryon from Game of Thrones) has launched four projectors: three new, one not so new, but all are launching in the UK for the first time.
Those projectors are the VisionMaster Pro 2, VisionMaster Max, VisionMaster Pro, and StreamMaster Plus 2.
For more details on the projectors, check them out below.
A high-end performance
We’ve reviewed the VisionMaster Pro 2 already, giving it 4.5 stars, but to provide quick overview of what to expect, it features RGB triple-laser technology to deliver bright images and what Valerion claims to be industry-leading colour performance.
4K UHD resolution is supported, with the VisionMaster Pro 2 backed by 3000 ISO lumens of brightness to ensure it can be used in rooms with plenty of ambient light.
It’s able to 110% of the Rec.2020 colour gamut, and is ISF certified, with its Enhanced Black Level (EBL) optical engine claimed to offer “greater contrast and shadow detail”. Auto-focus, auto-keystone and obstacle avoidance make for an easier set-up process.
HDR support equates to Dolby Vision and HDR10+, while there’s IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker mode for those who want the most precise pictures this projector can deliver. Gamers should take note of the 4ms input lag (although only at 1080p/240Hz); while Google TV support brings all the apps that smart interface is compatible with plus Google Cast, AirPlay 2 and Alexa voice control.
An impressive line-up

The VisionMaster Max is, according the Valerion, the first smart RGB laser projector equipped with a professional-grade lens system. Brightness isn’t as much as the VisionMaster Pro 2 at 3500 lumens, but still plenty enough.
The original VisionMaster has much of the same DNA as the sequel with its 4K resolution, Google TV support and HDR support; but brightness levels are lower, so if you’re looking for a projector to use in dark rooms, this is the model within the Valerion line-up that would suit those purposes.
Finally, the Valerion StreamMaster Plus 2 is another 4K RGB triple-laser projector with 2000 ISO lumens of brightness, IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision/HDR10+, Filmmaker mode support and Google TV onboard.
While none of these are portable projector in the truest sense of the meaning, but you can pick up and easily carry it to another room in the home.
Where can you find Valerion’s projectors?
The VisionMaster Pro 2 goes on sale June 12th, and it’ll be avaialble to order exclusively through Richer Sounds and Peter Tyson’s brick ‘n’ mortar stores and online, before wider retail availability from July onwards.
The rest of the projector line-up will be available from the same stores around the same time.
