The latest Fire TV update adds a feature binge watchers will love

With the latest Fire TV update, your watchlist from other streaming services finally shows up alongside the usual Amazon Prime picks.

With every streaming service offering different shows per platform, it’s basically become common practice to have multiple streaming services in your arsenal. However, keeping up with these streaming services and the shows you are watching is a bit of a pain.

Now thanks to the latest Fire TV update, you can keep up with your watchlist without having to log into streaming platforms one-by one. Basically if you watch anything from Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount, RTL, and WOW, they’ll appear in your Fire TV Overview – as long as the content was started on your Fire TV.

You don’t seem to be able to organise the list manually as it’s ordered in chronological order based on the most recently added shows, but despite this, it’s still a handy little update and one that’ll make my life easier.

To try out these features, update your Fire TV device to Fire OS 6. If you’re unsure on how to do this, head to Settings, tap My Fire TV, and then click Info. Here you’ll be able to select check for the system update. Once this is done, all the updates and features should appear automatically.

If you’re in the market for a new TV – particularly as Black Friday approaches – and you want to use this handy new feature, take a look at our reviews of the Amazon Fire TV Omni QLED or the Amazon Fire TV 4-Series for more information.
