Dreo’s next-gen fans will keep you cool with ultrasonic misting

Dreo has kicked off CES 2026 with a clear focus on cooling, and it’s betting big on a new system it calls TurboCool.

The company says the technology rethinks what misting fans can do, promising fast, noticeable cooling without the damp side effects that usually come with them.

At the centre of Dreo’s CES announcements is TurboCool, a fully integrated setup that combines high-performance airflow with ultrasonic misting. Rather than blasting moisture into the air, the system uses ultra-fine mist particles — as small as 17 microns in its flagship model — designed to evaporate quickly.

The idea is to deliver a genuine cooling sensation without raising indoor humidity or leaving surfaces wet, two common issues with traditional misting fans.

TurboCool makes its debut in the new TurboCool Misting Fan Series, led by the TurboCool Misting Fan 765S, which Dreo is positioning as the coolest 3-in-1 ultrasonic misting fan in its class.

The range also includes the 516S for smaller rooms and the 711AS for outdoor use, covering everything from desk-side cooling to patios and larger spaces. The full lineup is expected to launch in April 2026.

Cooling isn’t the only thing Dreo is showing off. The company also introduced MotionSync Technology, a new way to control airflow that feels more intuitive than tapping through an app.

Instead, users can simply point the remote in the direction they want air to go, with the fan adjusting in real time. MotionSync will debut on the TurboPoly Fan 765S.

There’s also a visual element this year, thanks to Neon RGBIC Technology. Built into products like the Smart Air Purifier 530S, it uses subtle lighting to reflect environmental conditions such as air quality, temperature and humidity, designed to be informative without being distracting.

Beyond air comfort, Dreo is expanding its Smart Kitchen range with the BaristaMaker Milk Frother Nano and two countertop water filtration systems: the 3-litre Water Filter 112 and 5-litre Water Filter 115. The company also previewed AI-assisted cooking with its upcoming ChefMaker 2 Combi Fryer series.

According to Dreo, all of this fits into its broader AIoT strategy, building smart systems that quietly adapt in the background. If TurboCool delivers on its promise, Dreo’s CES 2026 lineup could make staying cool a lot simpler in the summer.
