Sharing a power bank usually means one person gets the charge while the other waits. Nimble thinks it has a better idea.
Revealed at CES 2026, the new Champ Stack 10K is a portable charger that quite literally splits in two, letting two people charge their phones at the same time without being tethered together.
At first glance, the Champ Stack 10K looks like a fairly standard 10,000mAh power bank, complete with a built-in USB-C cable.
The trick is that it’s designed to break apart — safely — into two separate 5,000mAh mini power banks. Once split, each half works independently, so you and a mate can wander off while topping up your phones.
Nimble has clearly thought through the details. One half keeps the built-in USB-C cable, while the other features a fold-out USB-C connector, meaning neither user needs to carry an extra cable.
Each side should have enough juice to fully revive a dead smartphone, making it ideal for travel days, festivals, or that one friend who always forgets to charge before leaving the house.
There are a few trade-offs. When used as a single unit, the Champ Stack 10K tops out at 30W charging, and when split, each half maxes out at 20W. That’s not class-leading, but it’s perfectly reasonable for phone charging and small gadgets, and arguably a fair compromise for the flexibility it offers.
Nimble says the Champ Stack 10K is expected to launch in spring 2026, with pricing around $80. It’s not cheap, but for anyone who regularly lends out their charger or juggles multiple phones on a single cable, the split design could be worth it.
It’s a simple idea, but one that solves a surprisingly common problem. And honestly, it’s hard not to wish more power banks worked like this.
