Roku is pushing smart TV prices even lower in the UK as new Coocaa Roku TV models launch with built-in Roku streaming starting just over £100.
The new lineup is available exclusively through Joybuy and combines Roku’s streaming operating system with Coocaa’s budget-focused TV hardware, targeting shoppers looking for an affordable upgrade without sacrificing core smart features.
Coocaa’s Roku-powered TVs arrive at a time when price remains the biggest barrier to upgrading secondary TVs for bedrooms, kitchens, and smaller living spaces, and this launch is clearly aimed at closing that gap.
Affordable sizes and familiar Roku streaming
The Coocaa Roku TV range spans both 2K and 4K models, with 32-inch and 40-inch Full HD options sitting alongside larger 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch 4K UHD displays.
All models support HDR10 for improved colour and contrast and include Dolby Audio as standard, delivering a specification set that is increasingly rare at this end of the market.
At the heart of every model is Roku OS, giving users access to popular UK streaming apps including BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, and The Roku Channel, alongside more than 40 free ad-supported FAST channels.
Roku’s interface remains one of the platform’s biggest selling points, with a simple home screen, fast setup, automatic software updates, and a personalised layout designed to reduce menu clutter.
Coocaa says the TVs are built around ease of use and everyday reliability, rather than premium design features, making them a practical option for households prioritising value over cutting-edge display tech.
The UK launch follows the introduction of Coocaa Roku TV models in Germany in 2023, marking a continued expansion of the brand’s European footprint.
Joybuy, which is operated by JD.com and is currently in a beta phase ahead of a wider rollout, is positioning the partnership as part of its push into consumer electronics.
Pricing is where the lineup stands out most, with the 32-inch HD Roku TV starting at £109, the 40-inch Full HD model priced from £145, and 4K UHD options from £189 for sizes between 43 and 55 inches.
For UK buyers focused on affordability rather than flagship specs, Roku-powered TVs are continuing their race to the bottom on price, and Coocaa’s latest launch may be one of the clearest examples yet.
