Marshall is finally making it easier to turn its Bluetooth speakers into a proper multi-room setup.
The company has announced Heddon, a compact Wi-Fi streaming hub designed to bring whole-home audio to speakers like the Acton III, Stanmore III and Woburn III — without having to replace your existing kit.
At its core, Heddon acts as a bridge between your music services and Marshall’s speakers. It streams audio over Wi-Fi and then sends it to compatible speakers using Auracast, letting you sync playback across multiple rooms.
It also opens the door to setups Marshall owners haven’t been able to do before, like wiring in a turntable and streaming vinyl around the house, or connecting older Marshall speakers via RCA and keeping them in sync with newer wireless models.
Physically, Heddon keeps things understated. It’s a small, square box that is about 120mm wide, finished in Marshall’s familiar black Tolex-style material with the classic logo up front. Think Apple TV 4K, but tuned for guitar amps rather than films. There are no flashy controls here, as the hub is designed to be managed almost entirely through the Marshall app.

In terms of streaming support, Heddon covers Spotify Connect, TIDAL, AirPlay 2 and Google Cast, and there’s also an Ethernet port for anyone who prefers a wired network connection. Once set up, it allows wireless Marshall speakers to play in sync with older, cabled models — including earlier Acton, Stanmore and Woburn speakers, as well as Kilburn, Stockwell, Tufton and Marshall’s Voice models.
On its own, the Heddon hub costs $299 / £179, but buyers picking up a new Acton III, Stanmore III or Woburn III can get it for half price. Buy two or more eligible speakers, and Marshall will throw the hub in for free.
For long-time Marshall fans, the Heddon may feel like a missing piece of the home audio puzzle. It brings modern multi-room streaming to a speaker lineup that’s previously been stuck in Bluetooth-only territory, and does it without forcing users to start from scratch.
