You can now buy Coocaa Roku TV models on Joybuy

Coocaa has brought its Roku-powered TVs to the UK, launching a new range of Coocaa Roku TV models exclusively through online retailer Joybuy.

The lineup blends Coocaa’s budget-friendly smart TV hardware with Roku’s well-known streaming platform. It aims squarely at shoppers looking for simple, affordable upgrades.

The range covers both 2K and 4K resolutions, with 32-inch and 40-inch Full HD models at the entry level. There are also larger 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch 4K UHD options for living rooms.

All models support HDR10 for improved contrast and colour. Furthermore, they include Dolby Audio for a more immersive sound experience, features that are becoming increasingly rare at this price point.

Roku OS is built in as standard, giving users access to a familiar and easy-to-navigate interface. Popular streaming apps like BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, and The Roku Channel are available out of the box.

They are joined by more than 40 FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channels. Setup is designed to be quick. In addition, there are automatic updates and a personalised home screen that keeps frequently used apps front and centre.

This UK launch follows the introduction of Coocaa Roku TVs in Germany in 2023. It marks the next step in Coocaa’s European expansion. It also coincides with Joybuy’s own rollout in the UK. The JD.com-owned retailer is currently in beta testing. Furthermore, it is positioning itself as a faster, more convenient alternative to established online electronics stores.

Rob Woollard, Director of Retail Partnerships at Roku UK, said the partnership is about getting Roku’s streaming experience into more homes, pairing “fast, simple and intuitive” software with Coocaa’s TV designs and Joybuy’s delivery and support infrastructure.

Pricing is one of the biggest draws here. The 32-inch HD Roku TV starts at £109, the 40-inch Full HD model from £145, while 4K UHD models from 43- to 55-inches start at £189 — undercutting many established brands. Nevertheless, they still offer a full smart TV experience.

For buyers who want a straightforward Roku-powered TV without paying a premium, Coocaa’s new lineup looks like a strong value-led option. This is especially true heading into the festive season, when ease of use and screen size tend to matter more than headline specs.
