Sky is bringing back one of its most recognisable channel brands.
Sky One is returning later in February, relaunching on channel 106 with a fresh mix of new Sky Originals and familiar favourites. All of this will be bundled into a single entertainment hub.
The revived Sky One will become the home of Sky’s headline comedy and entertainment shows. This includes new originals like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.
Additionally, it’ll carry established hits such as Rob & Romesh Vs.., The Paper and Ted. This gives viewers one place to find Sky’s biggest crowd-pleasers without hopping between channels.
The relaunch isn’t just cosmetic. Sky One replaces Sky Showcase and Sky Max, consolidating their content under one banner. This move is designed to make Sky’s TV line-up easier to navigate. Additionally, according to Sky, no shows are being lost in the shuffle. Everything previously available will still be accessible, either live or on demand.
One of the bigger draws still to come is Saturday Night Live UK, which Sky One will host later in 2026. While details remain under wraps, the show is positioned as a flagship addition to the channel’s entertainment-first identity.
“Our goal is to make it easier than ever for Sky TV customers to find and enjoy the shows they love,” said Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, adding that the revived Sky One is intended to be “big, bold and bursting with energy.”
Sky One launches on Tuesday 24 February and will be available to Sky Ultimate TV, Sky Signature and Sky+ customers. However, the relaunch does come with some channel reshuffling. For instance, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime and others are moving to new positions. This depends on whether you’re using Sky Q, Sky Glass or Stream.
For long-time Sky viewers, the return of Sky One feels like a nod to the past. However, it comes with a modern focus on originals, big personalities and easy-to-find entertainment.
