DJI is preparing two new entry-level drones following regulatory listings in the United States that reveal models intended to replace existing Mini-series hardware, despite the company’s recent sales restrictions.
Recent filings with the Federal Communications Commission, first reported by The New Camera, show DJI submitted two unannounced drones, identified as the DJI Lito 1 and DJI Lito X1, for approval in November and early December 2025, shortly before new US restrictions on DJI hardware took effect.

Market positioning implied by the filings places both models at the lower end of DJI’s lineup, where lightweight drones focus on accessibility, automated flight features, and simplified controls for first-time users.

Projected pricing places the Lito 1 at around $330, while the higher-end Lito X1 could launch near $759, closely matching the price tiers occupied by the Mini 4K and Mini 5 Pro today.
Those figures position the Lito models as direct replacements rather than aggressive price cuts, maintaining DJI’s existing entry-level ladder while updating hardware ahead of further regulatory changes.
