Apple Music has rolled out Replay 2026, giving subscribers an early look at their most-played songs for the year. This happens months before the usual end-of-year wrap-ups kick in.
As in previous years, Replay 2026 ranks your top 100 most-streamed tracks, updating weekly as your listening habits evolve throughout 2026.
Apple typically activates Replay in early February, once January’s listening data has finished processing. Consequently, users can track their music trends in near-real-time rather than waiting until December.
Unlike Spotify Wrapped-style summaries that arrive once and never change, Replay is designed as a living playlist.
Following its first appearance, the rankings refresh every weekend. They gradually build a clearer picture of what you’re actually listening to over time. By the end of the year, Replay 2026 settles into a final list of your most-played songs across the entire year.
Replay 2026 is available directly in the Apple Music app. Users can find it by heading to the Home tab and scrolling to the “Replay: Your Top Music” section. It’s also accessible via Apple Music on the web. There, signing in with an Apple ID lets you add the playlist to your library. Once saved, the playlist updates automatically each week.
If Replay doesn’t show up straight away, there are a couple of common reasons. Apple requires listening history to be enabled. This can be checked under Settings > Music, where “Use Listening History” must be turned on. Light or infrequent listening can also delay activation, but Replay should appear automatically once enough data is available.
Apple Music Replay has been around since 2019, originally launching as a web-only feature with a simple playlist. Over the years, Apple has expanded it into a more detailed tracking tool. The company added visual summaries, monthly breakdowns, and deeper insights directly inside the app.
Replay 2026 continues that approach — less of a flashy recap, more of a steady snapshot of how your music taste is shaping up long before the year is over.
