Feral Interactive has released Tomb Raider for iOS and Android, bringing the 2013 reboot of Lara Croft’s origin story to mobile devices with rebuilt visuals and performance optimisations.

Originally launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game marked a tonal shift for the franchise and introduced a more grounded portrayal of Lara Croft’s early survival experience.

The mobile release coincides with the franchise’s 30th anniversary and includes the full original campaign alongside all 12 downloadable content packs from the console version.

Those DLC additions include extra outfits, weapon upgrades and a bonus Challenge Tomb, aligning the mobile edition with the previously released Definitive-style bundles on other platforms.

Feral Interactive states that the game has been optimised for modern smartphones and tablets, with higher-end devices capable of running at up to 120 frames per second.

Players can select between up to four graphical presets depending on hardware capabilities, balancing visual quality, performance smoothness and battery efficiency.

Graphics mode prioritises higher visual fidelity at lower frame rates, while Performance mode reduces visual settings to deliver smoother gameplay during combat and exploration.

Performance Plus mode, available on select iPad Pro models, enables frame rates of up to 120fps for devices capable of sustaining higher refresh rates.

A Battery Saver mode reduces graphical detail and frame rate output to extend playtime on smaller devices where thermal management and power consumption become limiting factors.

The game supports a fully customisable touchscreen control layout, giving players the ability to reposition on-screen buttons and adjust sensitivity settings.

Optional gyroscopic aiming is available on supported devices, providing motion-based targeting during combat sequences.

Feral Interactive also includes full gamepad support, along with keyboard and mouse compatibility on iPadOS and Android tablets.

Tomb Raider is available now on the App Store and Google Play, with pricing and device compatibility varying by region.
