This is how much the new DJI Avata 360 could cost

DJI’s long‑rumoured Avata 360 has resurfaced in a major leak, revealing pricing, configurations, and signs that reviewers already have units in hand. The drone is expected to launch in March, with China likely to be the first market.

The Avata 360 was initially tipped for a late 2025 release, but delays pushed the date into early 2026. According to drone leaker Jasper Ellens, DJI still plans to announce the drone before the end of March, with a possible global rollout in April.

Pricing is dictated by multiple tiers. Leaks are saying that the base package will cost CNY 2,988 (~$435) with the drone and a single battery. A mid‑tier option at CNY 3,988 (~$575) adds the RC 2 remote controller. The top‑end bundle costs CNY 5,688 (~$825) and includes three batteries, a charging hub, a carry case, and either the RC 2 or DJI’s Goggles N3 headset.

In British terms, this translates to around £320 to £600, putting it in the mid-range to premium bracket. However, UK pricing is still TBA, and it could very much differ from its direct conversion price.

Leaked instructional videos spotted in DJI’s beta apps suggest the company has already shipped Avata 360 units to reviewers. This aligns with DJI’s typical launch pattern, where review content surfaces shortly before official announcements.

The Avata 360 is positioned as an alternative to the Antigravity A1, currently priced at $1,599 on Amazon. DJI’s pricing strategy undercuts that of its rival significantly, even at the highest tier.

The drone first appeared in leaks as the “Avata 3” in May 2025, with rumours of a 360‑degree camera system emerging later that summer. DJI has not confirmed specifications, but the name strongly suggests panoramic capture capabilities.

If past launches are any indication, DJI may stage two announcements: one in China, followed by a global release. Either way, March 2026 looks set to be the month when the Avata 360 finally arrives.
