A new leak suggests Oppo plans to integrate built-in magnets into its upcoming Find X10 series, a move that would introduce magnetic accessory support to a major Chinese flagship line for the first time.
Weibo leaker Smart Pikachu claims the Find X10 will launch in the second half of 2026 with embedded magnets, enabling compatibility with magnetic chargers and snap-on accessories similar to Apple’s MagSafe ecosystem.
Magnetic alignment systems simplify wireless charging placement and stabilise attached accessories such as battery packs and wallets, features that have become increasingly common in premium smartphone ecosystems outside China.
If accurate, Oppo would become the first major Chinese smartphone manufacturer to adopt this approach natively rather than relying on magnetised cases or third-party attachments.
Reports earlier in the year suggested Samsung might introduce integrated magnets with the Galaxy S26 series, but more recent leaks indicate that change may not arrive until the Galaxy S27 in 2027.
Integrating magnets directly into the chassis would allow Oppo to standardise accessory alignment and potentially support the evolving Qi2 wireless charging specification, although the leak does not confirm compliance with the latest Qi standard.
Oppo is reportedly preparing multiple models for release this year, including the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro, while positioning the Find X10 series as its next flagship tier.
Separate reports indicate the Find X10 Pro could use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 chipset, while the standard Find X10 may feature a Dimensity 9500+ processor, reflecting continued reliance on MediaTek’s premium mobile platforms.
Camera rumours point to a potential dual 200MP setup with large 1/1.3-inch sensors, a configuration that would align with ongoing competition among Android brands to prioritise sensor size alongside megapixel counts.
Smart Pikachu places the Find X10 launch in the second half of 2026, and given that the Find X9 series debuted in October 2025, a similar autumn release window would align with Oppo’s recent product cadence.
Oppo has not confirmed any details regarding magnets, specifications, or launch timing, and further information is expected closer to the anticipated release period later this year.
