Samsung has confirmed it will unveil the latest Galaxy A-series on March 25, made up of the A37 and A57.
This gives its best-selling mid-range lineup a timely refresh, with early details suggesting there could be plenty of meaningful upgrades on offer.
According to the announcement, the launch is set for 5:30pm IST (12pm GMT). Both phones are expected to land as direct rivals to devices like the iPhone 17e and Pixel 10a.
The bigger story here is performance and longevity. Both handsets are tipped to ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5. They will also boast six years of software support which is something that’s quickly becoming a key battleground in the mid-range space.
Moreover, the Galaxy A57 looks like the more substantial step forward. It’s expected to feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, paired with Samsung’s new Exynos 1680 chipset. Additionally, camera hardware reportedly includes a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro. The battery also sticks to 5,000mAh but gains faster 45W wired charging which is a welcome bump over previous models.

The Galaxy A37, on the other hand, appears to take a more familiar approach. It’s rumoured to come with a slightly larger 6.7-inch, 120Hz AMOLED panel, but it seems likely to use the older Exynos 1480 chip. It should offer a similar battery capacity, though with a more modest camera setup, including an 8MP ultrawide.
None of this is especially flashy, but that’s kind of the point. Samsung’s A-series has never been about headline-grabbing features, but rather on more consistent, well-rounded upgrades that land at the right price.
With the official reveal just one day away, the focus will be on whether Samsung can keep that balance. It must do this while fending off increasingly strong competition in the mid-range market.
