Clearaudio’s Groove Archive box makes it easier to keep your vinyl neat and tidy

Clearaudio is best known for its high-end turntables, but the German audio specialist is now turning its attention to something more practical.

It is focusing on how you actually store your records. The company has introduced the Groove Archive Box, a handcrafted vinyl storage system. It keeps collections organised, protected, and easier to manage day-to-day.

They build each box in Germany’s Bavarian Forest from FSC-certified European cherry wood and sizes it to hold up to 50 LPs. It’s a simple idea that leans heavily on finish and flexibility.

Inside are two removable dividers to keep records upright and separated. The modular design lets users stack the boxes up to four high, or mount them on the wall for a cleaner, floating-style setup.

The focus here isn’t just storage, though — it’s preservation. Vinyl spends far more time on a shelf than it does on a turntable. Clearaudio is clearly aiming to make that downtime safer for records.

Alongside the box, the company has also introduced new anti-static inner sleeves. These designs reduce electrostatic build-up and protect vinyl during handling.

The sleeves are made with a smooth, low-friction surface. This allows records to slide in and out more easily. At the same time, this design helps prevent abrasion and fine surface scratches. Each pack contains 50 sleeves, making them a straightforward upgrade for larger collections.

Together, the company pitches the two products as a complete storage system rather than standalone accessories. It focuses one on physical organisation and the other on long-term protection.

Pricing is relatively accessible by audiophile standards. The Groove Archive Box is £75 (€75 / $95), while the anti-static inner sleeves cost £39 (€39 / $50) for a pack of 50. Both are available now through specialist retailers and directly from Clearaudio.

With this new product, Clearaudio is leaning into practicality. This gives vinyl collectors a neater, more structured way to store records. The company does this without overcomplicating the process.
