This new Find Hub wallet tracker promises two years of battery life

Wallet trackers are one of those gadgets you don’t really think about until you lose your wallet. KeySmart’s latest model looks like it’s trying to remove one of the biggest annoyances with them altogether.

The new SmartCard Pro has officially launched with support for both Android’s Find Hub and Apple Find My networks. However, the standout upgrade is its claimed two-year battery life. That’s double what many wallet trackers currently offer while still keeping Qi wireless charging onboard.

That combination alone makes the SmartCard Pro a little more practical than many ultra-thin trackers. Often, these trackers force users to choose between longer battery life or convenient charging.

KeySmart says the tracker uses a new Atlas Gen 3 chipset, which brings a 50% boost in compute performance compared to the standard SmartCard released earlier this year. In real-world use, that should mean quicker detection by nearby devices and faster responses when triggering the built-in speaker to help locate a misplaced wallet.

It might not sound like a huge deal on paper. Yet, anyone who’s waited several seconds for a tracker to ping or update its location knows how frustrating that lag can be.

The SmartCard Pro keeps the same slim wallet-friendly design as its predecessor. However, it adds a transparent casing and aluminium frame that make it feel a bit more premium than the usual plastic tracker cards flooding Amazon right now.

Like the original version, it works with both Apple Find My and Android Find Hub, though not simultaneously. Users will need to choose which ecosystem they want to pair it with during setup.

Battery capacity has also been bumped to 350mAh. Meanwhile, KeySmart claims 30% better power efficiency helps push longevity up to 24 months per charge.

At $49.99, the SmartCard Pro sits on the pricier end of wallet trackers, especially compared to basic Bluetooth finders. Still, the longer battery life and dual-platform support could make it appealing for anyone tired of constantly recharging slim trackers every few months.
