Noise Audio partners with Bose for a new clip-on pair of earbuds

Noise has entered the open-ear audio category with Master Buds Open, a clip-on earbud built in collaboration with Bose.

Open-ear earbuds have grown into a distinct category as listeners look for designs that deliver audio without blocking outside sound, and Noise enters that space by pairing its own hardware with Bose’s acoustic engineering.

Several other audio brands have introduced similar clip-on, open-ear designs over the past two years, and Master Buds Open enters that increasingly crowded field with the added weight of a named acoustic partner in Bose (who have their own clip on the the Open Ultra Earbuds).

Noise describes itself as India’s leading connected lifestyle brand, and the Bose partnership signals a push to align the Master Series with established international audio names rather than competing on price alone.

Master Buds Open extends the Master Series beyond its existing in-ear and over-ear models, and it arrives after Master Buds, Master Buds 2 and Master Buds Max, which gives Noise a premium option across all three major earbud formats.

The earbuds use an ergonomic clip-on design built for all-day wear, and that open-ear shape lets audio play without sealing the ear canal, so users can hear traffic, conversations and other ambient sound while listening.

That awareness-first approach targets specific everyday situations, from commuting through busy streets and taking calls on the move to working from cafés or exercising outdoors, settings where blocking out surrounding sound entirely can be a liability rather than a benefit.

That thinking echoes comments from Amit Khatri, co-founder of Noise, who said the brand believes “consumers should not have to choose between great sound and awareness of their surroundings” as open-ear listening becomes a bigger part of the market.

Presenting the earbuds at IFA Berlin matters to Noise’s wider ambitions too, and Khatri said the show gives the brand “the ideal stage to showcase the continued evolution of the Master Series” to a global audience beyond its home market in India.

Noise has not confirmed pricing or full specifications for Master Buds Open, and it says those details will follow closer to launch, with availability set for late September 2026 through gonoise.com, major e-commerce platforms and leading retail stores.
