OnePlus has launched the N6 Lite 4G in India, its cheapest phone yet with a 7,000mAh battery.
The handset joins the N6 and N6x as the third addition to OnePlus’s budget-focused N series within recent months, extending a lineup built around long battery life rather than flagship-grade hardware.
That positioning carries through to the N6 Lite 4G’s 6.75-inch LCD display, which runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and a typical brightness of 700 nits despite its modest 1,570 x 720 pixel resolution.
Powering the display is Unisoc’s T7250 chipset, a 12-nanometre platform pairing an eight-core CPU with an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU, hardware aimed squarely at everyday tasks rather than gaming performance.
The phone’s headline feature is, of course, the 7,000mAh battery that dwarfs the capacity found in most rivals at this price point, alongside 15W wired charging and 5W wired reverse charging for topping up other devices.
Camera duties fall to a 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 rear sensor with autofocus and a 5MP front camera, with video recording capped at 1080p and 30fps on the rear lens and 720p at 30fps on the front.
The N6 Lite 4G carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature increasingly absent from pricier handsets that have moved to wireless-only audio.
Connectivity runs through Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 rather than newer standards, though storage expansion via microSD card up to 2TB gives the phone more flexibility than many budget rivals.
The handset measures 8.95mm thick and weighs around 215 grams, arriving in Neo Green and Midnight Hype colour options that keep the design language consistent with the rest of the N series.
The OnePlus N6 Lite 4G is available now in India in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, priced at INR 16,999, which converts to roughly $177 at current exchange rates.
OnePlus has not confirmed whether the N6 Lite 4G will expand beyond India, leaving its availability in other markets, including the UK, unconfirmed for the time being, but it’s highly unlikely.
