Klipsch is giving its iconic desktop speakers a modern reboot.
The new ProMedia Lumina system takes everything fans loved about the original late-’90s ProMedia lineup, the horn-loaded clarity, the punchy bass, the big soundstage, and repackages it for modern users.
And yes, it still sounds unmistakably Klipsch.
The Lumina is a full 2.1-channel setup, but the biggest upgrade is in the satellite speakers. Each one uses Klipsch’s patented MicroTractrix horn, now in a wider design to deliver more precise, low-distortion audio even at nearfield distances. Paired with 3-inch midrange drivers, the system is built for crisp dialogue, detailed editing work, and the kind of positioning accuracy gamers obsess over.
The subwoofer has also had a rethink. This time it’s a slim, upright 6.5-inch side-firing unit, designed to hide neatly under a desk while still delivering surprisingly weighty bass. A built-in cable-management alcove keeps things tidy, and the adjustable gain knob.
Connectivity is firmly up to date. Alongside Bluetooth 5.3, there’s USB-C, a 3.5mm aux input, and proper software control. Klipsch’s Connect Plus app for iOS and Android gives users a six-band EQ, Virtual Surround mode, sound presets, Night Mode, and full lighting controls.
There’s also a dedicated PC app that adds extras like Screen React, which mirrors the colours on your display onto the satellites’ LEDs, and Windows 11’s Dynamic Lighting support for syncing with your RGB setup.

And yes — Klipsch has gone all-in on lighting this time. Each satellite includes six LEDs with multiple ambient modes and music-reactive effects, designed to be subtle rather than like a nightclub. Even the stands have been upgraded, offering 0–20 degrees of tilt for better positioning.
Under the hood, the Lumina delivers 100W RMS (200W peak), low-noise amplification, and a 40Hz–20kHz frequency response, topping out at 98dB SPL, more than enough to annoy your neighbours even if they’re not that close.
The ProMedia Lumina system is available now in the US for $379.99. It’ll arrive in the UK and Europe (€399) from January 2026 onwards.
