Ugreen has used CES 2026 to outline its most ambitious push beyond chargers and accessories yet, unveiling a connected ecosystem spanning AI-powered storage, smart home security, and high-output desktop charging.
It’s a clear attempt to position the brand as a serious player in smart home infrastructure rather than a supporting act.
The headline announcement is the NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro, next-generation NAS systems built around Intel Core Ultra processors and, crucially, fully local AI.
Rather than leaning on cloud services, Ugreen is pitching these devices as private, offline alternatives that still offer modern AI features.
That includes natural language file search, automatic photo categorisation, voice memo transcription and even an on-device chatbot that can summarise documents and interact with stored data without sending anything off-device.
On paper, the specs are substantial. Dual 10GbE networking, up to 64GB of memory and support for nearly 200TB of storage puts the iDX series firmly in enthusiast and small-business territory.
The promise of searching your archive with prompts like “Dad on a bike” or chatting with your own offline knowledge base will appeal to privacy-conscious users, though how smoothly this works in practice will matter more than the feature list.
Ugreen is also stepping into unfamiliar territory with the SynCare smart home security range, marking its first full surveillance ecosystem.
The lineup includes indoor and outdoor cameras, a video doorbell and a central smart display hub, all tied together with AI-powered detection and local storage via UGREEN’s NAS hardware. The emphasis on encrypted local recording and zero cloud fees feels like a deliberate swipe at subscription-heavy rivals, though availability isn’t expected until the second half of 2026.
Rounding out the CES showcase is the Nexode Pro 300W desktop charger, an eight-port GaN unit designed for desks packed with laptops, tablets and phones. With multiple high-wattage USB-C ports, a dedicated DC output and a built-in display showing real-time power distribution, it’s arguably the most immediately practical product of the bunch.
Pricing for the NAS systems starts at $999, with pre-orders open now, while SynCare and Nexode Pro will arrive later in 2026. Whether Ugreen can convincingly compete in AI storage and smart security remains to be seen, but CES 2026 makes one thing clear: the brand wants to be seen as more than just a charging accessory specialist.
