A new leak has outlined the camera specifications for the Oppo Find X9s Pro ahead of its expected April 21 launch, pointing to a dual 200MP Hasselblad-tuned system as the device’s headline feature.
Tipster Old Chen Air, posting on Weibo, claims the primary camera will use a 200MP Samsung Isocell HP9 sensor measuring 1/1.4 inches with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation, a sensor size that would place it among the larger main camera units in the current Android flagship segment.
The telephoto unit reportedly uses a 200MP Samsung Isocell HP5 sensor at 1/1.56 inches with an f/2.6 aperture and OIS, with a 65mm focal length that targets portrait and medium-range compression rather than extreme zoom reach more common in competing flagship camera systems.
The dual 200MP configuration sets the Find X9s Pro apart from most flagship competitors, where a single high-resolution primary sensor paired with lower-resolution secondary cameras remains the more common approach, making Oppo’s choice to apply the same sensor tier to both main and telephoto units a notable hardware decision.
A 50MP Samsung Isocell JN5 ultra-wide sensor with a 1/2.76-inch size and f/2.0 aperture completes the triple-camera array, covering the standard wide, standard, and telephoto focal lengths that have become the baseline configuration for premium Android handsets.
Hasselblad tuning across all three sensors follows the approach set by the Find X9 Pro, with the Swedish camera manufacturer’s involvement typically covering colour science, white balance calibration, and interface elements rather than hardware design.
Earlier leaks suggest the Find X9s Pro will feature a compact 6.32-inch 1.5K display, a 7,025mAh battery, and a Dimensity 9500 chipset, differentiating it from the Find X9 Ultra, which is expected to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Oppo has confirmed an April 21 launch for both the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro, though the Find X9s Pro may remain a China-exclusive release, limiting its availability to international buyers.
