Marking 80 years since founder Takeshi Godai established the company in 1946, Onkyo has introduced two anniversary product lines that draw directly on its classic industrial designs while incorporating modern streaming and amplification.
Both series made their first appearance at CES 2026, where Onkyo previewed the hardware at High End Vienna ahead of an August 2026 availability window, with the designs referencing specific products from the company’s back catalogue.
The Muse Y-50(G) Network Integrated Amplifier takes its visual cues from the Integra M-588, an amplifier from the 1990s recognised for its walnut side panels and illuminated meters. The anniversary edition carries Bordeaux walnut side panels, a Champagne gold aluminium front panel, and a ventilated top plate patterned on the Japanese San Kuzushi motif.
That amplifier delivers 250 watts into 4-ohm speakers through an Axign Class D amplifier with MOS FET output, with a 5.46-inch colour LCD displaying track information and analogue-style VU meters alongside support for AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect.
Connectivity on the Y-50(G) is plentiful with analogue RCA, COAX, Ethernet, HDMI ARC, MM/MC phono inputs, and Wi-Fi, with Onkyo’s proprietary room calibration technology included to optimise output for different listening environments.

The Creator Series takes a different reference point, with the GX-30ARC and GX-10DB powered monitors drawing from the D-200 Liverpool bookshelf speakers Onkyo introduced in 1987, rendered here in Bordeaux walnut with textured black baffles, dark silver trim rings, and angled ABS resin stands.
Both Creator speakers use Class D amplification with bi-amplification technology that powers the tweeter and woofer independently, while the GX-30ARC adds Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI ARC, optical, RCA/Phono, Subwoofer Pre-Out, and USB-C connectivity for integration with desktop, gaming, and home theatre setups.
The Muse Y-50 Network Integrated Amplifier carries a US price of $1699, with the Creator GX-30ARC available at $399 per pair and the GX-10DB at $299 per pair, all three scheduled for release in August 2026 with UK pricing to be confirmed later in the year.
