Google’s latest foldable is finally getting thinner and lighter.
The new Pixel 11 Pro Fold is around 1mm thinner and almost 10% lighter than its predecessor, at 5mm unfolded and 239g respectively. Despite this thinner design, Google claims it’s also three times stronger.
That slimmer design could make the Pixel 11 Pro Fold easier to live with when folded, especially compared to the ultra-slim competition like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Honor Magic V6 – though it still has a way to go before it’s truly slim.
The phone also gets a redesigned durable hinge, scratch-resistant glass, a soft-touch composite back and IP68 water and dust resistance – the latter of which is still a rarity in the foldable scene.
The inner screen is an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display that’s 20% brighter than the previous generation. Google has also upgraded the outer screen to the brighter Super Actua tech, making both displays better suited to bright environments.
The large screen is designed for multitasking, with features such as Split Screen, floating Bubbles and Drag & Drop between compatible apps. Additionally, you can also fold the phone into tabletop mode for hands-free viewing.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is powered by Google’s Tensor G6 with 16GB of RAM. Google says the chip offers up to 50% more TPU computing power and up to 20% better power efficiency than the previous generation.
The camera system gets a significant upgrade, too. There’s a new 48-megapixel main camera that captures 56% more light. Alongside this, there is a 5x 10.8MP telephoto camera with 30x Super Zoom and a 10.5MP ultrawide camera.
Battery life is rated at more than 24 hours with a 4750mAh battery, while 30W wired charging can reach 50% in around 30 minutes. Wireless charging with Pixelsnap is up to 20% faster too, with full Qi 2.2 25W certification.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold also gets Google’s Gemini Intelligence features, and buyers receive six months of Google AI Pro at no extra cost. This includes expanded Gemini usage, 5TB of cloud storage and Google Health Premium.
Overall, Google’s latest foldable is less about reinventing the formula and more about fixing one of its biggest weaknesses: size. The thinner, lighter body, brighter displays, upgraded cameras and Tensor G6 make the Pixel 11 Pro Fold a more refined foldable for 2026.
