Presto Music has expanded its reach across the high-end audio world. The specialist classical and jazz streaming service is now available on Linn’s range of network music players and systems.
The integration brings Presto Music directly into the Linn App, providing owners of Majik and Selekt DSM systems through to the flagship Klimax DSM access to the service’s catalogue of classical and jazz recordings.
What makes Presto Music different from others is its focus on high-resolution streaming and human curation. Meanwhile, its Fair Play initiative aims to pay artists more fairly based on the amount of music streamed rather than simply per track.
The move also continues Presto Music’s push to get its service onto more high-end audio hardware. The company already supports a number of streaming platforms and hi-fi ecosystems. This includes Focal and Naim devices, as well as the audiophile Audirvāna playback platform.
For Linn owners, the main appeal is that Presto Music doesn’t require a separate workaround or playback system. The service will integrate into Linn’s own control software following an over-the-air update. Once the update is installed, users can browse the catalogue and start playback.
Linn owners who haven’t used Presto Music before will also be able to sign up for an extended three-month free trial through the app.
The partnership makes sense given Linn’s long-standing focus on high-resolution music playback. The Scottish company has been developing networked audio products since it introduced the Klimax DS in 2007; while Presto Music has built its reputation around classical and jazz rather than trying to cater to every possible genre.
Presto Music says its service is now available across an increasingly broad range of countries, following its expansion into several Asian markets in 2025, alongside existing availability across Europe, North America and other regions.
