Insta360’s best webcam looks ace in white

Insta360 has given its flagship webcams a fresh Arctic White finish, bringing a cleaner look to the Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro without changing their hardware or pushing up the price.

Both webcams are built around a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, with support for 4K video, Dual Native ISO and HDR for better results across different lighting conditions. They also feature AI noise reduction and four audio pickup modes, making them suited to everything from video calls and presentations to livestreams and recordings.

The Link 2 Pro is the more advanced option of the two, with a 2-axis gimbal and AI-powered tracking that can follow presenters as they move. The Link 2C Pro takes a simpler approach with a fixed body and Auto Framing for individuals and groups.

The new white finish doesn’t change any of those features, but it should fit more naturally into bright home offices and modern creator setups than the existing Graphite Black models.

Insta360 has also added several software tools aimed at professional users. Its Link Controller software now includes a Teleprompter for keeping scripts and notes close to the camera while presenting, while Custom Overlays let users add text, images and video elements to presentations, livestreams and recordings.

There’s also integration with Insta360 InSight, which brings AI-powered meeting features such as transcription, summaries and key takeaways. Support for Elgato Stream Deck and WaveLink Pro gives creators more ways to control the webcams alongside their existing desktop setups.

The Arctic White Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro are available worldwide from August 27. The Link 2C Pro costs $199.99, while the Link 2 Pro is priced at $249.99, with both costing the same as their Graphite Black counterparts.

That makes this more of a cosmetic refresh than a major webcam upgrade, but it’s a welcome option if you’re building a bright, minimalist workspace and don’t want a black camera sitting above your display.
