Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 series has appeared in another batch of leaked renders, giving us a closer look at the designs of both the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra ahead of launch.
The Galaxy Tab S12+ renders show a tablet with a metal build, available in gray and silver, with a single rear camera and support for a stylus. Additionally, the right-hand frame, when the tablet is held vertically, houses the volume rocker and power button.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is also shown in the latest leak, and its design lines up with previous renders with the same gray and silver colour options. However, there are a couple of clear differences between Samsung’s two larger tablets.
Most notably, the Tab S12 Ultra appears to have a notched display and two rear cameras. Meanwhile, the Tab S12+ sticks with a conventional display and a single camera on the back. The renders also show the stylus support that has become a familiar part of Samsung’s high-end tablet range.
Samsung previously confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S12 series would arrive in the second half of 2026, but it hasn’t provided a specific launch date or detailed specifications yet. This year’s series is currently rumoured to consist of these two models, lining up with the leaked renders.
The timing is still a little uncertain. The Tab S12 range was expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S26 FE, but that didn’t happen as anticipated. There is still a chance Samsung could unveil the tablets later this month, especially as the company introduced the Galaxy Tab S11 series in September 2025.
For now, the renders are the best indication of what Samsung has planned, rather than confirmation of the final designs. With the Tab S12+ and Ultra seemingly taking slightly different approaches to their displays and cameras, the Ultra is shaping up as the more distinctive of the two.
