Xiaomi has started teasing its next flagship phones, and a Geekbench listing has now given us a closer look at what’s powering the Xiaomi 18 Pro.
A Xiaomi device carrying the model number M154FF has appeared in Geekbench and features Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be unveiled in its home region of China later this month. However, an exact launch date hasn’t been announced yet.
The Geekbench 7 listing records a single-core score of 2,871 and a multi-core score of 8,836. The prototype was also equipped with 16GB of RAM, while the processor is listed with a maximum clock speed of 5.01GHz.
Those benchmark numbers are worth treating cautiously, though. This is a prototype, so both the hardware and software could still change before the phone reaches consumers. The listing itself also uses an unusual model number for Xiaomi. The company has typically used a system based on the year and month. That doesn’t necessarily mean the listing is inaccurate. However, it’s another reason not to read too much into the benchmark just yet.
The software side is also starting to take shape. The Xiaomi 18 Pro series is expected to run HyperOS 4, based on Android 17, when it launches.
There are a few other details already floating around, too. Previous certifications indicate that both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will support 100W wired charging. Although Xiaomi hasn’t officially detailed the rest of the hardware yet, more information may come soon.
For now, the Geekbench results mainly confirm what’s under the hood. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and 16GB of RAM on the tested prototype, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is shaping up as a substantial hardware update. We’ll know more when Xiaomi officially unveils the phones later this month.
