Xbox has revealed another wave of Game Pass titles landing this month, with eight brand-new games joining the library. There are also a couple of returning titles expanding to more tiers.
The latest drop includes a mix of indie standouts and bigger names. Highlights like Final Fantasy V arrive in early May. Several fresh releases roll out across the final weeks of April. As usual, all titles will be available across Cloud, console and PC depending on the game. They will remain playable while they’re part of the Game Pass catalogue.
The rollout kicks off on April 21 with a trio of new additions. Little Rocket Lab brings a 2D factory-building RPG twist. Meanwhile, Sopa: Tale of the Stolen Potato leans into a more narrative-driven adventure set in a magic-realist world. There’s also Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, a roguelite deckbuilder that rounds out the day-one lineup.
A couple of days later, on April 23, Kiln joins the service. It is a fast-paced team-based action game focused on destruction and co-op play. Then on April 28, Aphelion lands, offering a more story-led experience. It is centred on two astronauts stranded on a frozen planet.
The final stretch of April is where things get busiest. April 29 sees Trepang2 added a first-person shooter with a memory-loss storyline. This is followed by multiple launches on April 30, including Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, Sledding Game, and TerraTech Legion. These range from classic turn-based strategy to more experimental multiplayer and roguelike experiences.
Looking slightly ahead, Final Fantasy V arrives on May 5, giving subscribers access to a remastered version of the classic RPG.
Not every title is completely new, though. Some games like Little Rocket Lab and Sopa are also being added to the Game Pass Premium tier. This expands their availability to more subscribers.
As always, there’s a trade-off. Microsoft has confirmed that nine games will leave Game Pass on April 30, including Goat Simulator, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and Citizen Sleeper. If any of those are sitting in your backlog, now’s probably the time to wrap them up.
All in all, it’s another stacked update and a reminder that Game Pass isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
