Huge Motorola Razr 70 Ultra leak showcases a similar-looking foldable

Motorola’s next flip phone has leaked again. And if you were hoping for a dramatic redesign, this probably isn’t it.

Fresh images of the Razr 70 Ultra (also known as the Razr Ultra 2026) have surfaced just days ahead of launch, showcasing a device that looks almost identical to its predecessor.

The latest leak, shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass, gives a full look at the phone in new finishes. This includes a blue-purple variant and a dark wood-style option. While those materials add a bit of visual flair, the overall design remains largely unchanged.

The familiar clamshell shape, hinge mechanism and large outer display all appear to be carried over from the previous Razr generation.

That lines up with earlier rumours suggesting Motorola isn’t making major hardware changes this time around. At least on the outside, that seems to be the case.

One small detail the new leak does clear up, though, is the selfie camera situation. Earlier renders noticeably lacked a visible inner display camera, sparking speculation that Motorola might be experimenting with under-display tech. These new images confirm that it wasn’t the case; the missing camera was simply a rendering error. The punch-hole selfie camera is still here as expected.

Beyond that, there’s very little new revealed in the visuals. Even short clips included in the leak point to the same core experience Motorola has been refining over the past few generations. Rather than introducing anything radically different, it looks refined.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Motorola’s recent Razr models have been among the more polished foldables out there, especially when it comes to usability and display size. But it does suggest this could be more of an iterative update rather than a big leap forward.

The Razr 70 Ultra is rumoured to launch on April 29, alongside other models in the Razr lineup. With the design now effectively out in the open, the focus will likely shift to what’s changed under the hood. The question is whether that’s enough to justify the upgrade.
