Panasonic is marking 25 years of Lumix cameras with the launch of the new Lumix L10, a compact fixed-lens camera that mixes classic photography controls with some surprisingly modern tricks.
The new camera arrives in Black, Silver, and a special Titanium Gold edition created specifically for the anniversary. It looks like Panasonic is leaning heavily into the whole “premium everyday camera” vibe here. Think Fujifilm X100-style appeal, but with Panasonic’s own spin on colour science and video features.
At the centre of the Lumix L10 is a Leica DC Vario-Summilux 24-75mm lens with a bright F1.7-2.8 aperture, paired with a 20.4MP 4/3-inch BSI CMOS sensor. Panasonic says it designed the setup to deliver strong low-light performance, natural colour reproduction, and smoother tonal detail. Meanwhile, the multi-aspect sensor lets users switch between 4:3, 3:2 and 16:9 shooting without changing the field of view.

The camera itself weighs around 508g. Panasonic is clearly pitching it as something you can comfortably carry all day for street photography, travel shots or casual everyday shooting.
Panasonic is also bringing over some of the smarter features from its higher-end cameras. The Lumix L10 includes Phase Hybrid AF with 779 focus points, AI-powered subject detection, and burst shooting up to 30fps using the electronic shutter.
There’s also a strong focus on custom colour profiles. New film-inspired modes called L.Classic and L.ClassicGold join Panasonic’s existing Photo Styles. Meanwhile, REAL TIME LUT support lets users preview custom colour grading directly in-camera before taking the shot.
The Titanium Gold edition gets a few extra touches too, including a matching gold-themed interface, exclusive accessories and support for custom screw-in shutter buttons.
Video hasn’t been ignored either. Panasonic says the L10 supports MP4 Lite recording for quicker social uploads, alongside integration with the Lumix Lab app for wireless transfers, RAW editing and AI-generated LUTs.
The Lumix L10 will also come with Panasonic’s five-year warranty programme. Buyers of the Titanium Gold model will receive a special 25th anniversary shutter release button at launch.
