Ninja is shrinking one of its most impressive coffee machines.
The new Ninja Luxe Café MINI Plus takes everything that made the Luxe Café range appealing but squeezes it into a machine that’s 30% smaller than the Luxe Café Pro.
That’s a big deal for anyone who wants café-style coffee at home. Importantly, it also helps those who don’t have the counter space for a large espresso setup.
Despite the smaller footprint, Ninja hasn’t stripped back the features. The Luxe Café MINI Plus is still an all-in-one system. It can grind beans, brew espresso, make filter coffee and froth milk. Therefore, it effectively replaces several separate appliances with a single machine.
Like its larger sibling, the Mini Plus leans heavily on Ninja’s Barista Assist technology to make coffee preparation less intimidating. The system automatically adjusts grind settings and shot sizes to help deliver consistent results. Consequently, it takes much of the guesswork out of making espresso at home.
That convenience extends to milk drinks too. The machine includes Ninja’s hands-free AutoFroth system, which can create different milk textures for everything from flat whites and lattes to cappuccinos. Moreover, it also works with both dairy and plant-based milk alternatives. This makes it a little more flexible than some traditional espresso machines.
Ninja has clearly prioritised ease of use throughout. An integrated burr grinder, built-in scale, assisted tamper and straightforward control panel are all designed to simplify the process. Meanwhile, dishwasher-safe components should make cleaning up less of a chore.
There’s still plenty of room for customisation if you like to tweak your coffee. Users can choose between single and double espresso shots. Additionally, you can adjust brew strength and select from three water temperature settings. This allows you to tailor drinks to your preferences.
The launch comes as more coffee fans look to recreate café-quality drinks at home without investing in complicated prosumer equipment. The MINI Plus feels aimed squarely at that audience. It offers many of the features found on larger bean-to-cup systems in a package that’s easier to fit into a typical kitchen.
The Ninja Luxe Café MINI Plus is available now in the UK for £499.99.
