Google has offered the first official glimpse of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold ahead of its full unveiling next week. The company released a short teaser video that confirms the foldable’s arrival on 12 August.
While the clip keeps most details under wraps, it does reveal the handset’s familiar silhouette and offers a brief look at both the inner display and the rear camera housing. The teaser doesn’t dwell on specifications. However, it suggests Google is sticking with a familiar foldable design for another year.
The rear camera module appears almost unchanged from the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, reinforcing earlier leaks suggesting an iterative hardware update rather than a complete redesign. Google also gives viewers a quick peek at the device as it unfolds, but the video stops short of revealing the display in full.
That restrained approach isn’t too surprising, as recent leaks have already painted a fairly detailed picture of what to expect. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is widely expected to retain an 8-inch inner display and feature Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 processor.
The foldable is also rumoured to pack a 4,800mAh battery, alongside a new Pixel Glow LED integrated into the rear camera module. If accurate, the lighting system could provide visual notifications or status indicators without requiring users to open the phone. However, Google has yet to confirm exactly how it will work.
Colour options also look set to expand. Alongside a traditional black finish, leaks suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be available in a new Pine colourway.
Google hasn’t shared any further technical details in the teaser. Instead, it encourages viewers to tune in for its Made by Google event on 12 August, where the Pixel 11 lineup is expected to make its full debut.
With the official announcement now just days away, the teaser serves mainly as confirmation that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is on track. If the leaks prove accurate, Google’s next foldable will focus on refining an already familiar design with upgraded silicon, improved battery life and a handful of new hardware features.
