The Analogue Pocket is getting a seriously flashy makeover. Supreme is turning the retro handheld into a limited-edition collector’s item complete with a 24-karat gold finish.
The Supreme Analogue Pocket will launch as part of Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. However, there’s no word yet on exactly when it will go on sale or how many units will be made. What we do know is that it won’t come cheap, especially compared with the standard Analogue Pocket’s $239.99 list price.
There will be two versions to choose from. One is an aluminium unibody model with a glossy red finish, and the other is a gold-plated version. Supreme is changing the look rather than the hardware, however; both versions retain the same technology found in the regular Pocket.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The Analogue Pocket is already one of the more interesting ways to revisit classic Game Boy games, thanks to its FPGA-based hardware. Rather than emulating the original hardware like many cheaper retro handhelds, it can play Nintendo Game Boy cartridges natively.
Meanwhile, its 1,600 x 1,440 display packs exactly ten times the resolution of the original Game Boy Color on each axis.
So, underneath that Supreme makeover, this is still the same retro handheld. The difference is that the standard black or white Pocket has been replaced by something designed to stand out on a shelf.
And that limited-edition status could make this one particularly tempting for collectors. Supreme hasn’t revealed how many units will be produced, though. Therefore, there’s no telling yet just how difficult this gold version will be to get.
For anyone simply looking for an Analogue Pocket, the standard model remains the more sensible option. But if you’ve got a taste for Supreme and an especially generous retro-gaming budget, this version is certainly hard to miss.
