Oppo’s next flagship phone range is almost here, with the Find X10 series set to launch in China on September 22. The company has confirmed three Find X10 models, with the top-end Find X10 Pro Max tipped to feature a seriously ambitious triple 200MP camera setup.
Oppo confirmed the launch date and lineup in a post on Weibo, with the Find X10, Find X10 Pro Max and Find X10 E all making their debut alongside the Oppo Watch S2 and Enco X4 earbuds.
The Find X10 Pro Max is being positioned as a flagship focused on photography and video, while Oppo describes the standard Find X10 as a flagship offering an all-round performance package. Based on previous leaks and teasers, the biggest difference could be around the cameras, with the Pro Max reportedly packing three 200MP sensors.
Oppo hasn’t revealed the full camera specifications yet, so there’s no word on the individual lenses or how those three high-resolution sensors will be used. Still, a triple-200MP setup would give the Pro Max a pretty clear photography-first identity.
The company has also shown off a new design for the Find X10 Pro Max, marking a change from last year’s Find X9 series. The Pro Max will be available in Moon White, Light Titanium and Warm Orange, while the standard Find X10 comes in Ice Blue, Light Titanium and Clear Orange.
There’s also the Find X10 E, which Oppo calls an “entry-level flagship imaging device”, although the company hasn’t shared any meaningful specifications for it yet.
The rest of Oppo’s September 22 launch lineup is shaping up nicely, too. The Watch S2 will introduce what Oppo calls “scientific fat burning” features, while the Enco X4 earbuds will feature Dynaudio sound.
For now, Oppo is keeping both pricing and detailed specifications under wraps. The September 22 event is confirmed for China, while there’s no word yet on when the Find X10 range or the other new products will get a global launch.
With three 200MP cameras reportedly reserved for the Pro Max, though, that’s the model worth keeping an eye on when Oppo finally fills in the blanks next week.
