Samsung’s next foldables have leaked again, but this time it’s the Galaxy Z Fold 8 that stands out for all the right reasons.
Indeed, new images shared by leaker Ice Digital appear to show the cover screen protectors for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, giving us a pretty clear idea of how the three devices differ when folded.
The standout is the regular Galaxy Z Fold 8, which appears noticeably wider than previous Fold models. That matters because Samsung’s taller, narrower Fold design has long been one of the series’ biggest compromises, especially for typing and one-handed use on the outer display.

Based on this leak, the Fold 8 finally looks closer to a normal smartphone when closed. Meanwhile, the Fold 8 Ultra seems to stick with a more familiar, narrower shape.
The image also reveals camera cutouts for the Z Flip 8, including a single wide opening for the dual cameras, rather than the separate circular cutouts used on the Flip 7. It’s a small change, but it should give the outer display a cleaner look.
Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the specs yet. However, earlier leaks point to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 powering the Fold 8 and Fold 8 Ultra, while some regions may get the Exynos 2600 in the Flip 8. The Fold 8 is also rumoured to focus on weight reduction and slimmer hardware, while the Ultra will go all-in on top-end specs.
What makes this leak more convincing than most is that it lines up with previous dummy-unit leaks and Samsung’s apparent shift toward a wider Fold design. If accurate, the Fold 8 could be the model that finally fixes the outer-screen usability issue many people have complained about for years.
Samsung is expected to unveil all three devices at a rumoured July 22 event in London.
