This is one of the sleekest iPhone wireless chargers we’ve seen

Twelve South has expanded its premium Valet charging accessory to the UK and Europe, introducing a new compact version alongside the original full-size model.

Rather than looking like another piece of tech clutter, the Valet is doubles as a stylish catch-all for your keys, wallet, watch and other daily carry items. At the same time, it wirelessly charges your iPhone.

The standout feature is its Qi2-certified wireless charging, which delivers up to 25W for compatible iPhones. It can also top up AirPods with a wireless charging case. Beneath the tray, there’s also a 10W USB-C output. This allows you to charge a second device such as an Apple Watch or Kindle using your own cable.

The only difference between the two is the size. The 10.8cm compact Valet is intended for bedside tables and smaller shelves, while the 19cm original Valet provides more room for larger everyday items like wallets, keys and watches on desks or hallway consoles.

Unlike many wireless chargers that prioritise function over form, Twelve South has leaned heavily into premium materials. The Valet features a supple Nappa leather tray and a weighted zinc alloy base for added stability. It also has hidden cable routing to keep desks and bedside tables tidy. The charging pad includes a subtle “Goodnight Glow” indicator. This briefly pulses to confirm charging before fading away. This avoids bright LEDs that can be distracting in a dark bedroom.

Customisation is another selling point. Buyers can choose from Black, Brown or Taupe leather finishes. Meanwhile, the removable outer frame is available in Black, Ecru and Brown. The tray can also be positioned in one of four different orientations. This makes it easier to fit on a bedside table, desk or hallway console.

Twelve South says the compact Valet is aimed at tighter spaces such as nightstands, while the original version is better suited to larger surfaces like entryway tables, desks or kitchen counters.

The new Valet range is available now through Twelve South’s UK and European stores. The compact Valet costs £129.99 / €139.99, while the larger original Valet is priced at £179.99 / €189.99.

For iPhone owners who prefer accessories that blend into their home rather than stand out on it, the new Valet looks like one of the most elegant Qi2 charging solutions we’ve seen this year.
