Apple’s annual Back to School promotion is now live in the UK, giving students and education staff a gift card worth up to £120 when they buy an eligible Mac or iPad.
The offer has now rolled out across the UK and 18 other European countries following Apple’s Back to School promotion in the US and other regions last month. The promotion runs until 22 October 2026, so anyone keen has a couple of months to get in on the action.
The UK offer applies to eligible Macs and iPads, while the value of the gift card depends on the product purchased. Apple is targeting the promotion at students, but educational staff looking to pick up new hardware ahead of the academic year are also included.
There are some notable exclusions, though. The MacBook Neo isn’t eligible for the promotion, while the iPad mini, entry-level iPad and desktop Mac range are also left out. That means shoppers looking for Apple’s cheapest Mac or iPad options won’t be able to take advantage of the gift card offer.
Turkey is the odd one out among the participating European markets. Rather than receiving a gift card, customers buying an eligible Mac or iPad can choose a four-pack of AirTags at no additional cost. Additionally, buyers can also pay extra for selected AirPods models. If they purchase an iPad, they can also pay extra for an Apple Pencil Pro.
The promotion is also available in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
For UK students and education staff already considering a Mac or iPad, the promotion could make Apple’s higher-priced hardware a little easier to justify. This is particularly true with the gift card effectively providing additional credit for future purchases.
