Loewe opens new concept store in Harrods

Loewe has opened a new concept store on the fifth floor of Harrods in London.

The space sits within Harrods’ technology hall alongside other established consumer electronics brands and gives Loewe its own dedicated environment to present its television, audio, and coffee machine ranges to Harrods’ luxury shopper base.

That curated mix of categories illustrates a broader shift at Loewe, which has moved beyond its television heritage to build a wider lifestyle ecosystem that spans audio equipment, coffee machines, and connected home devices under a single design language.

The positioning reflects a wider strategy at Loewe, which has spent the past year building out its lifestyle portfolio beyond televisions, most notably through the launch of the Loewe leo smart speaker and the continued expansion of its audio line-up.

Loewe strengthened that audio ambition further earlier this year by acquiring Cabasse, the French high-end audio manufacturer, and added decades of speaker engineering expertise to a company that has built its reputation primarily on premium televisions since inventing electronic television in 1931.

Harrods now becomes the latest addition to that growing retail network following Loewe’s expansion into the United States, and the brand frames the London opening as a natural next step in establishing a presence within the world’s most prestigious luxury retail destinations.

Aslan Khabliev, chief executive of Loewe, commented: “Opening at Harrods represents an
important milestone in Loewe’s continued international growth and reflects the
increasing desirability of the brand within the global luxury landscape. Following a
remarkable year for Loewe, driven by the successful launch of Loewe leo, the continued
momentum of our television portfolio, and the expansion of our lifestyle ecosystem, this
new retail concept is a natural next step in our ambition to establish Loewe within the
world’s most prestigious luxury destinations.”

Loewe remains a German-engineered brand at its core, manufacturing its products at its facility in Kronach, Upper Franconia, which employs around 200 people, selling its televisions and audio systems across more than 50 countries worldwide.

The new Loewe concept store at Harrods is open to the public now, and further details on the store and its product ranges are available through the Loewe and Harrods websites respectively.
