Oppo is giving UK buyers a tempting reason to put down a deposit on its new Find X10 series, even though the phones themselves haven’t officially launched in the country yet.
Instead, the company has opened blind pre-orders for the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max, with discounts and a choice of free gifts thrown in. The deal requires a £49 deposit, which gets you either £150 off the Find X10 or £200 off the Find X10 Pro Max when the phones eventually launch in the UK.
And Oppo isn’t stopping there. Buyers can choose one of three freebies: a Hasselblad teleconverter kit, Oppo Watch X3 or Oppo Pad 5. That’s a fairly substantial bundle considering the phones themselves haven’t even received an official UK launch date yet.
There is, naturally, a catch. Oppo has only just unveiled the Find X10, Find X10 E and Find X10 Pro Max in China, and there’s no confirmed date for when the phones will actually arrive in the UK. Anyone paying the deposit is therefore committing before knowing exactly when their phone will be available.
Oppo is at least offering some protection against another potential sting. The company says that if its Black Friday pricing ends up being lower than the price you paid through the pre-order, it will refund you the difference.
The UK store also gives us a clearer idea of the configurations coming to the region. The Find X10 will be offered in Glacier Blue, Mist Grey and Glow Coral, with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.
The Find X10 Pro Max, meanwhile, will come in Titanium Grey and Luna White, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage as the sole configuration listed.
There’s no word yet on the Find X10 E’s UK availability or configuration. For now, Oppo is keeping the exact launch timing under wraps, but the early pre-order offer suggests the company is already preparing for the series’ UK arrival.
