Marshall is shrinking its party speaker line-up. The new Bromley 150 is the brand’s most portable party speaker yet but packs 40+ hours of battery life, 360-degree sound, built-in stage lighting and mic and instrument inputs into its smaller cabinent.
The Bromley 150 measures 290 x 290 x 208mm and has a built-in grab-and-go handle, so it’s designed to be moved around rather than left in one spot, with IP55-rating that covers dust and water splashes.
Marshall’s True Stereophonic 360° technology uses front-and-back speakers to spread the sound around the speaker. It has a 6.5-inch 40W woofer, two 6W full-range drivers and a 7.5-inch passive radiator. Expect a powerful sound for its size, with the built-in speakers backed up by a total of 200W of Class D amplification.
The other big part of the party setup is the lighting. Like the Bromley 450 and Bromley 750, there are stage lights sit behind the grille and move with the music, with three presets ranging from more subtle lighting to a full light show.

Connectivity-wise, there are two XLR/6.3mm combo inputs for microphones and instruments, making the Bromley 150 suitable for karaoke or an impromptu musical session. Bluetooth 5.3, Auracast and Bluetooth Multipoint are supported. This is alongside a 3.5mm AUX connection and USB-C.
Battery life is rated at more than 40 hours, while a 20-minute quick charge adds five hours of playback. The replaceable LFP battery can also be swapped out, and Marshall says the battery and several exterior parts are replaceable to help extend the speaker’s lifespan.
The Bromley 150 is available to pre-order now from the Marshall website at £399.99. Full-on availability begins on October 13 with the only finish currently available is Black and Brass.
