DJI Osmo Pocket 4 pricing leaks ahead of global launch

DJI’s next pocket-sized vlogging camera may be cheaper than we initially expected.

Ahead of its expected global debut this week, a new leak suggests the Osmo Pocket 4 could start from just €499, which significantly undercuts earlier pricing plans.

According to serial leaker billbil_kun, DJI originally intended to price the camera at €539 which is roughly in line with the previous generation. However, although it’s unclear whether this is just a launch promotion price, the camera appears to have dropped the entry price by €40.

The same report claims the Creator Combo will land at €619, down from an initial €679 estimate. This bundle includes the likes of an LED fill light, wide-angle lens, mini tripod and DJI’s Mic transmitter alongside the standard kit.

That standard package is said to ship with essentials including a gimbal clamp, threaded handle, carrying pouch, USB-C cable and wrist strap, much like the Osmo Pocket 3.

Pricing aside, the Osmo Pocket 4 looks set to be a meaningful upgrade from the Osmo Pocket 3. Leaks point to a 1-inch CMOS sensor with up to 14 stops of dynamic range, support for 4K video and 240fps slow motion with 10-bit D-Log recording. In addition, DJI’s latest ActiveTrack 7.0 and Intelligent Focus features are expected to return, with improved subject tracking for handheld shooting.

Battery life could stretch up to 240 minutes at 1080p, while connectivity upgrades like Wi-Fi 6 and USB 3.1 should make file transfers quicker. There’s also talk of 107GB of built-in storage, reducing the need to rely on external cards.

DJI hasn’t officially confirmed any of this yet, but with a launch tipped for April 16, there’s not long to wait. If the pricing holds, the Osmo Pocket 4 could land as a more accessible upgrade and would happen without cutting back on the features that made its predecessor a go-to for content creators.
