Samsung is raising prices on Galaxy phones and tablets

Samsung has quietly increased prices across a range of its Galaxy phones and tablets in the US, with some models seeing particularly steep jumps.

The changes affect several recent devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 which now starts at $1,299.99, up from $1,219.99. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge have also crept up in price, with each gaining around $40 to $80 depending on the configuration.

But it’s Samsung’s tablets where the increases feel more noticeable. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 now starts at $899.99, a $100 jump from its original launch price with higher storage variants climbing even further. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra sees some of the biggest hikes, as the top-end 1TB model has jumped by as much as $280, and is now close to $1,900.

Even mid-range options aren’t spared. Devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE, Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 Plus have all received price bumps. These increases are typically in the $50 to $120 range. In other words, the price hike isn’t limited to premium models and affects even the more affordable ranges.

Interestingly, Samsung hasn’t touched its latest flagship phones like the Galaxy S26 series, but that’s likely because those already launched at higher prices to begin with.

There’s no official explanation for the increases. However, the timing suggests Samsung could be testing higher price ceilings ahead of its next wave of devices. If that’s the case, this could be a preview of what’s coming.

For now, it makes buying at full price a tougher sell. Discounts are still popping up on some models, particularly older configurations. Still, at their new list prices, many of these devices feel harder to justify than they did just weeks ago.
