Optoma has expanded its 4K laser projector range with three new models. These new models handle a wide range of uses, from boardroom presentations to home cinema and gaming.
The new line-up consists of the ZK451, UHZ67, and UHZ67-W. All three combine True 4K UHD resolution, laser projection technology, and compact designs. As a result, they should be easier to fit into a variety of spaces.
The ZK451 is the model aimed squarely at professional environments. It delivers 4,500 lumens of brightness and includes installation-friendly features such as 1.6x zoom, 360-degree projection, and portrait mode support. This makes it suitable for meeting rooms, conference spaces, and digital signage applications.
For home users, Optoma is positioning the UHZ67 and UHZ67-W as all-round entertainment projectors. Both offer 4,300 lumens of brightness, along with support for HDR and HLG content. This helps films, sports, and streaming content look more vibrant, even in rooms that aren’t completely dark.
Gaming is also a major focus. The UHZ67 and UHZ67-W support 1080p at 240Hz and 4K at 60Hz. They also feature low input lag designed to keep gameplay feeling responsive on a much larger screen than a typical TV can offer.
Across the range, Optoma is using its DuraCore laser technology, which the company says can deliver up to 30,000 hours of operation without requiring replacement lamps. Additionally, the projectors are also mercury-free, reducing maintenance requirements while improving energy efficiency compared to traditional lamp-based alternatives.
Optoma has also focused on ease of use. The Smart Control App allows users to adjust settings, switch display modes, and make image corrections directly from a smartphone. Meanwhile, the ZK451 supports Optoma Management Suite, enabling remote monitoring and management for larger installations.
While the three projectors target different audiences, the common theme is flexibility. Whether it’s delivering detailed presentations in a meeting room, creating a big-screen cinema experience at home, or handling high-refresh-rate gaming, Optoma’s latest additions are designed to cover a broad range of viewing needs. They achieve this from a relatively compact package.
