Acer has unveiled the Predator Atlas 7, a new Windows gaming handheld that squeezes the performance of its larger flagship sibling into a smaller 7-inch body.

At the heart of the Predator Atlas 7 is an Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor paired with up to Intel Arc B390 graphics. Acer also lists a standard Intel Arc G3 configuration with Arc B370 graphics, allowing buyers to configure the device to best suit their needs.
Memory goes up to 24GB of LPDDR5x running at 7467MT/s. Storage reaches 1TB through a PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD.
The display is a 7-inch, 1920 x 1080 IPS-level touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 500-nit peak brightness and VRR support and covers 100% of the sRGB colour space. In addition, it uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with DXC treatment to improve scratch resistance and reduce glare.

Acer hasn’t ignored the controls, either. The Atlas 7 has full-size analogue sticks, Hall-effect analogue triggers and optional TMR joysticks. The latter should offer improved precision and anti-drift performance, with Acer claiming zero dead zones.
The size of the battery is one of the more interesting aspects of the Atlas 7. Acer has fitted up to an 80Wh battery, although that pushes the handheld’s weight to under 750g. A 60Wh configuration brings the weight below 700g.
Keeping that hardware cool is a dual-fan system comprising one Predator AeroBlade metal fan and one plastic fan. Acer’s Vortex Flow tuning uses angled internal channels. These channels direct hot air out of the chassis more efficiently during sustained gaming sessions.
There’s also a fingerprint sensor built into the power button for Windows Hello. Meanwhile, Acer’s PredatorSense software provides access to performance modes, system monitoring, RGB lighting and gaming settings.
The Predator Atlas 7 will arrive in North America from Q4 2026 and in EMEA from November, though Acer has yet to confirm its price. However, with Intel Arc graphics, an 80Wh battery and a 120Hz VRR display, it undoubtedly looks set to be a serious flagship gaming handheld rather than a budget alternative.
