Loewe has unveiled its Neo portable speaker, bringing a premium aluminium design, 50W audio output and customisable ambient lighting to a package that looks ready to take on the likes of Bang & Olufsen.
The German luxury brand is positioning the Neo as a portable speaker that doesn’t compromise on sound or design. Priced at £400 / €400, it combines dual passive bass radiators with a 50W output, promising rich audio despite its small size.
It’s not just about sound, either. The Neo features a built-in ambient light strip that can be adjusted on the speaker, allowing users to change the lighting to suit their surroundings. There’s also a companion app that offers three sound presets, bass and treble adjustments, and along with the customisable lighting settings.
Loewe’s known for its emphasis on design, and with the Neo, it’s opted for a premium aluminium housing with modular exterior components and interchangeable speaker grilles, providing users flexibility over how the speaker looks. Touch controls also provide access to bass and treble settings without having to reach into the pocket a smartphone.

As it is a portable speaker, the Neo is designed to be taken outdoors. It comes with IP67 dust and water resistance, along with a detachable leather carrying strap and a premium felt hard-case for added portability.
That combination puts it in similar territory to Bang & Olufsen’s premium portable speakers, where design and build quality matter as much as audio. The Loewe Neo will be available in alu silver, alu black and champagne, with the latter offered as a limited edition.
Pre-orders start on 20 November 2026.
