Samsung has officially opened reservations for its next Galaxy devices, giving early buyers a chance to secure bonus credit ahead of the company’s next Galaxy Unpacked event.
The reservation page is now live in the US, allowing customers to register their interest before Galaxy Unpacked on July 22. At this event, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
Anyone who reserves a device through Samsung’s website or the Shop Samsung app will receive a $30 Samsung Credit to use during the pre-order period. The credit can’t be applied to the phone or smartwatch itself. However, it can be spent on eligible accessories, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Ring, Samsung Care+, watches or tablets purchased alongside the device.
Moreover, Samsung is also promoting up to $1,230 in total savings. Although that figure depends on trade-in values and other eligible offers. It also depends on whether it meets Samsung’s eligibility requirements.
There’s another incentive for those signing up early, too. Customers who reserve a device and opt into the promotion will automatically be entered into a sweepstakes, with ten $500 Samsung gift cards up for grabs. Furthermore, Samsung is also offering an additional $20 accessory discount for users who subscribe to SMS updates. They must also redeem a unique promotional code.
While Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the devices themselves, the reservation page strongly points to a launch centred around its next generation of foldables and wearables. Recent reports have suggested the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra could arrive with a higher price tag than previous models. The Galaxy Watch 9 lineup is also expected to see a price increase.
If you’re already considering an upgrade, reserving now could be an easy way to pick up some extra credit before pre-orders officially begin later this month.
