YouTube Premium is getting more expensive for users in several countries, with Google confirming price increases that will take effect from September.
The latest increases vary by region, but the examples reported so far point to rises of around 10–15%. Affected subscribers will start paying the higher price from their next billing date on or after September 23, 2026.
In parts of Europe, the monthly price is increasing from €13.99 to €15.99. Meanwhile, subscribers in Finland will see their price rise from €14.99 to €16.99.
Romanian subscribers will pay RON 32 per month instead of RON 29, while Singapore is seeing its monthly price increase from $13.98 to $15.98. The Singapore Family plan is also going up, from $27.98 to $31.98 per month.
The latest increase comes hot on the heels of a price hike in the US earlier this year. At that time, YouTube Premium prices rose by as much as $4 per month.
YouTube Premium doesn’t see price increases particularly often. However, the latest round shows that the higher pricing isn’t limited to the US. The exact increase depends on where you live and which subscription you have. Singapore is also seeing a higher price for its Family plan.
For existing subscribers, the change won’t happen immediately. Google says the new price will apply from the next billing date on or after September 23, giving users some time before the higher charge appears.
